OUR HERITAGE OUR WINE
AUTHENTIC SARDINIA YIELDS AUTHENTIC WINES
In the southern part of Sardinia, between Sarcidano and Marmilla, there is a historic area where small rural communities are lovingly devoted to agriculture and animal husbandry. We decided to plant our vineyards in this unspoiled haven nestled among interweaving plateaus, and thus breathe life into our dream: producing authentic wines that bespeak the essence of our wonderful island.
YOU CAN RECOGNIZE TERROIR BY TASTE
Our vines run across landscapes with soils generated by geological events that have taken place over half a billion years. Here, volcanic soils alternate with limestone and clay soils, and the climate is unique: mild winters, hot and windy summers, and strong temperature ranges give us healthy, ripe fruit with balanced acidity.
WINES THAT MURMUR TALES OF SARDINIA
The word "Sardinia" is the story of a traveler who sailed all over the Mediterranean until he landed on our island: Vermentino. It also tells of a red grape variety, the undisputed symbol of our land, which has been here for thousands of years: Cannonau.
Vermentino
A wine that complements every convivial moment. It’s crisp and fresh, with a vibrant acidity that offsets its softness. The aromas are reminiscent of Mediterranean gardens: delicate hints of citrus, orange blossom, and subtle notes of sage.
PAIRINGS
Its freshness and liveliness make it ideal to pair with a wide range of appetizers, both from the sea and the land. It goes wonderfully with fish carpaccio, tartare, shellfish, and seafood, enhancing their delicacy without overpowering the flavors. Likewise, it pairs beautifully with light cold cuts, grilled vegetables, and fresh cheeses.
Rosato
An elegant, soft pink color, a fresh and savory mouthfeel, a luscious sip, and a round, persistent, finish. An exquisitely balanced interplay between notes of rosehip, Rosa del West peach, and hints of eucalyptus and spearmint.
PAIRINGS
This wine pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes: from seared tuna tataki to salmon tartare with pink pepper, fresh and tasty poké bowls, and richer dishes like eggplant parmigiana and pizza, creating a perfect balance between freshness and flavor.
Cannonau
A young, fresh, round, and lively wine. It displays distinct notes of wild berries masterfully blended with hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. Tannins are well-balanced by a pleasant acidity.
PAIRINGS
Perfect with cured meats and not-too-aged cheeses, this wine is an excellent companion not only for appetizers and pasta dishes but also for fish-based main courses. It pairs particularly well with richer, fattier varieties like eel, mullet, and tuna, enhancing their flavors without overpowering them.
Cannonau Riserva
A deep ruby red, on the nose it displays a slightly spicy bouquet with notes of blackberry jam and small red fruits. In the mouth, its elegant tannins and body are balanced by excellent acidity.
PAIRINGS
Perfect with cured meats and medium to long-aged cheeses, this wine also pairs wonderfully with rustic, flavorful, or spicy pasta dishes, enhancing the bold taste of the ingredients. It pairs magnificently with game dishes, grilled or braised red meats, balancing the richness and savory intensity of the flavors.
